I am getting a job -- Updated!

On 1 September, I will be starting my 6 months contract as a HR Executive (doing recruitment). This is by the way, another company, different from that of my previous post.

The sequence of the whole incident:
13 Aug 2008 - I started working temp at Company W.
28 Aug 2008 - I went to interview for HR position at Company M; Company M offered me 6mths contract position, convertible to perm. I accepted verbally.
29 Aug 2008 (morning) - I was offered HR Executive position at Company W. My HR manager was so happy that she gave me a hug. (Yes is SHE, if is HE, I would have slapped him)

After lots of mental struggle and weighing of pros and cons, I plucked up lots of courage to reject Company M to join Company W. If it was other companies, I would not have even considered. However, it is Company W this time round. So far, the people are nice and I am comfortable with the environment and people. Hence, I decided to join Company W. :)

I am touched by my SIM dearies' good wishes when I told them I was going to work as an insurance agent (Company M is an insurance company). *MUACKZ* Love you all LOTS! :D

I am getting a job!

On the 9 Sept, I will be getting a 6 months contract job. :D Yipeeeeeeeeee~~~

Actually I applied for a permanent position, but honest me told the HR about cyst in ovary problem. So, she offered me 6 months contract, convertible to permanent position. *happy* :)

Went to post-celebrate Jiexi's birthday today. Her actual birthday was on 20th Aug, which was Wednesday, but that poor girl only came back to Singapore from Batam at 11.30pm.

For the both of us, we can't help but agree that birthday is just another day; so we are contented with just having our friends remembering it even if it means without any form of celebration. Just a simple SMS will do. It is the sincerity that really matters. :)

Am glad that Jiexi liked the bag I got for her, so that she can bring her clothes into Batam. She has already bought 5 tops from Batam because she missed the last ferry. Poor girl. I so wish that everything will go well for her from now onwards. :)

I feel a bit emotional now. I just feel that I have no milestones to call my own. I am 25 yet I don't have a career. Jiexi disagrees though. She told me that I have gone through a lot more things which most people around my age need not go though. I agree with her on this point but I just can't help but feel useless at some point. Maybe it's just my hormones going haywire.

I think I should follow Jiexi's advice to take this period as a well-deserved break.

I've decided

I've decided to go work as a temporary staff while waiting for my 2nd checkup at my gynae. I think this would be the best way out, in case I need to remove my cysts. Hopefully the company which is offering me temporary position will give me a good rate.
